Independence Day is about fireworks and all-American fun. Here's where to celebrate the Fourth of July 2017 in San Diego.
It wouldn't be the Fourth of July without bombs bursting in air. There are fireworks all over town. You can't go wrong with either of two spectacular fireworks shows close to Days Inn San Diego Hotel Circle Near SeaWorld. The Sea to Shining Sea 4th of July Fireworks at SeaWorld are an annual tradition capping off a day of fun with the animals and thrill rides at the park. The most spectacular fireworks is unquestionably the Big Bay Boom, which sets off fireworks from multiple barges around the bay.
County fairs and days at the beach are American traditions, and both can be part of your Fourth of July 2017 visit to San Diego. The San Diego County Fair is the largest in the country, bringing an Old West flavor to its thrill rides, entertainment, and exhibits. July 4th is the last day of the fair, and it'll close out with a great lineup and, of course, fireworks.
The beach is almost everywhere you turn in San Diego--we've got more than a dozen great stretches of sand. Pick the perfect spot to surf the waves, peek under the water with a snorkel, or simply lie on the sand.
