Visiting SeaWorld is one of the top things to do on San Diego visitors' lists. SeaWorld makes those visits even more magical throughout March with their Magic Weekends starting March 4.
The Magic Weekends bring headline illusionists to SeaWorld San Diego's Mission Bay Theater, for a 20 minute show that will leave you saying "how did they do that?" More magicians perform throughout the day at Explorer's Reef; you're always less than an hour away from seeing impossible tricks. The tricks performed by the dolphins, sea lions, and other animal stars of the Dolphin Days, Sea Lions LIVE, and Pets Rule! shows are also impossible to believe until you see them.
Don't miss the rest of the magic of SeaWorld. The Sesame Street Bay of Play lets little kids find their favorite Sesame Street friends and enjoy gentle water-themed rides like Oscar's Rocking Eel. Grownups and bigger kids can take an exciting ride on the Manta Rollercoaster, Journey to Atlantis flume, and Shipwreck Rapids raft for thrilling fun. The Killer Whale presentation gets you up close to those magnificent creatures; you can even Dine with Shamu. Other exhibits show off sea turtles, sharks, dolphins, and penguins. Encounter programs let you get into the water with dolphins or belugas.
After a day at Sea World San Diego, take a short drive back to your nearby San Diego hotel. You can also get into the water back at Days Inn San Diego Hotel Circle Near SeaWorld. The outdoor swimming pool is heated to the perfect temperature. So is the Jacuzzi, which is bubbling and ready to help you unwind. The feeling that you had a magical outing at SeaWorld is completely real.
