Halloween Spooktacular at SeaWorld
Halloween SpooktacularSeaWorld San Diego
Held weekends 9/28-10/27, 2013
Have a Spooky Time at SeaWorldThe annual Spooktacular festivities transform SeaWorld into a ghoulish underwater adventureland. Every weekend beginning at the end of September through to the big H, visitors will be frightfully delighted by some fishy, ooky fun! Everyone is encouraged to dress in costume. There will be special live shows with "scary" sea lions Clyde and Seamore, helped by their outrageous companion O.P. Otter.
Sailors, prepare to walk the plank as you enter the Pirates 4-D movie, which has as many laughs as it does shrieks. Little mermaids-to-be will want to head to the Mermaids' Grotto for a photo op with those sirens of the sea, Allure and Capri. They'll be waiting on their magical clamshell.
Sweets of the SeasonOf course, there will be sweet treats all around the Park. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., little ones are invited to trick or treat in SeaWorld-there are 10 different locations giving out the goods. In the meantime, check out Otto's Candy Garden! Otto is an octopus that tends his garden of lollipops and sweets with assistance from a delightful candy princess.
What's Halloween without jack o'lanterns? Penelope's Pumpkinfish Patch has a decidedly SeaWorld-ish take on the holiday-this underwater patch is home to dazzling pumpkin fish. If you're visiting with your wee ones, be sure to see Sesame Street's Countdown to Halloween stage show. It's simply Spooktacular!
