A Festival for Foodies

If you’re passionate about all things culinary, then this is the place for you. The 10th Annual Classic San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival boasts a stunning 10,000 food and wine enthusiasts from all over the country showing up to taste the bold creations of local restaurateurs and vineyards. It’s going to be quite a party.

There will be 70 restaurants participating. More than 200 purveyors of wine, spirits, and beer will be on hand. Some names to whet your appetite include Cupcake Vineyards, Sam Adams beer, and Angels & Envy Bourbon Whiskey. Who’s gonna cook? Marina Kitchen, Amaya La Jolla, and Underbelly will be there.

Put Money Where Your Mouth Is

Expect to see big name exhibitors like Jelly Belly, BevMo!, and Southwest Airlines. Like all good food festivals, there will be some competition going on. New trends that are eye-catching as well as palate pleasing will be fair game in the Chef of the Fest and People’s Choice Award categories. In the wine region, the 5th Annual Sommelier Challenge International Wine Competition will be in the house.

Attend everything or pick and choose. You can purchase ticket packages ranging from $340 to $1,600, or opt for individual events starting at $35. On November 23, those who want to work off their festive good-time indulgences can take part in the Fit Foodie 5K or 10K Runs.
