Before You Go

Fun for everyone awaits at Belmont Park, a historic beachfront amusement park. Parking and admission are free, but you do have to pay for the rides. The Giant Dipper should not be missed. Built in 1925, it was fully restored in the early 1990s, and it's a classic roller coaster experience. Thrill seekers should also check out mind-blowers like Beach Blaster, Octotron, and Control Freak. Little guys will like the Speedway Bumper Cars, Crazy Submarine, and Liberty Carousel. There's also Laser Tag, miniature golf, and, of course, an arcade.

Beaches stretch down the southern California coastline in a golden strand. Those close to Mission Valley and Days Inn San Diego Hotel Circle Near SeaWorld® pasting include Mission Beach with its fun carnival atmosphere. Ocean Beach is popular with surfers and swimmers, as well as those looking for a friendly place to take dogs. At night, light a fire and gather round with friends for singing and good times. Pacific Beach is another great spot with a booming nightlife of bars and clubs.

Mission Beach is a popular San Diego destination for all kinds of beachside fun. Swimming, inline skating, cycling, walking, and people watching are just a few of the activities visitors enjoy. Wave House at the beach is an awesome experience for those who want to try something innovative and different. Flow boarding is the latest trend in surfing, a great way to practice the craft-and just have fun. These wave machines do more than knock you over-they prop you up as you hone your skills.

What do you crave? There are plenty of tasty eats all along San Diego beaches. Just stroll down the boardwalk and take your pick. The Mission serves up great breakfasts with a South American twist. Saska's offers the three S's: steaks, seafood, and sushi. The Swell Cafe is the go-to place for brunch and subs. The Wave House is popular for burgers and thin-crust pizza. Visit Cannonball for sushi and the largest oceanfront rooftop in San Diego, or head downstairs to Draft, for brews and views! Bring your appetite to San Diego's sandy shores-you won't be disappointed.
